You must visit Chetco Brewing Company, a warm and welcoming community hub located in downtown Brookings, OR. Brewer Mike and wife Alex opened Chetco in their garage with just an 8 gallon kettle in April 2013. They sold 29 barrels that first year. You may’ve first heard of Chetco in 2014 when out of nowhere they won a Silver Medal at the prestigious World Beer Cup for their signature Stout. Chetco Brewing takes its water and name from Oregon’s southern most wild river-the Chetco. Now a 7 barrel brewery with a 10,000 square foot facility offering 20 taps, free games, quiet nooks, an eclectic special event space and rotating food trucks, Chetco has become a Southern Oregon treasure!
