Eugene Science Center is located in the beautiful 400-acre Alton Baker Park in Eugene, Oregon. It’s the region’s only hands-on science center, and it has engaged its community in science education for nearly 60 years. All are welcome to enjoy numerous interactive science exhibits and engaging programs along with immersive planetarium shows in one of the largest and most technologically-advanced planetariums in the Pacific Northwest. Eugene Science Center is open year-round Tuesday through Sunday during the school year, and daily during the summer months. Its popular music laser shows occur weekly on Friday nights. Eugene Science Center is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and UO Home Football Games.
